Egg Omelette Biryani

This recipe of biryani is not only delicious but also quite easy-to-make and fuss-free unlike other biryani recipes that take quite a lot of time to absorb the flavor of all the ingredients.


  • 2 Cup Basmati Rice
  • 2 Egg
  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • A pinch of Saffron
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 tsp Coriander seeds
  • 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 2 Green chillies
  • 5-6 Cashew nuts
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 cup Any Veggies
  • 1 medium Sliced onions
  • Salt to taste
  • 2-3 Cloves
  • 2 tbsp Chopped coriander

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Firstly, rinse and soak the rice. Then, boil the rice until 70% cooked.

Step 2

Meanwhile, heat ghee in a pan, add ginger garlic paste, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, cloves, and onion in the oil. Let it splutter.

Step 3

Once done, add cashew nuts and stir fry for 3-4 minutes.

Step 4

Then add veggies and mix everything well. let it cook for about 10 minutes.

Step 5

Once done, drain the rice and pour it over the veggie mixture.

Step 6

Cover the pan for 10 minutes. Then add coriander leaves, fried onion and saffron on top it.

Step 7

Heat oil in a separate non stick pan, whisk eggs in a container, add salt, red chilli powder, garam masala and beat well.

Step 8

Pour blended egg on the pan and let it cook from both sides.

Step 9

Place it over the biryani and serve with salan, mint chutney, and onion rings.
